Full Description:

On Sunday, December 10, 2006, from 2:00 - 4:00 PM, the Business and Professional Women (BPW) of Hueytown will sponsor the annual Christmas Parade of Homes. The following people and businesses in Hueytown graciously have agreed to hold Christmas Open House at that time: David and Jessica Hayes, 125 Dee Hendrix Road (Virginia Estates); Dennis and Diane Lockett, 5605 Lynchburg Circle (Virginia Ridge); Joyce's Formal Boutique, 129 Forest Road (near the high school), and Magnolia Florist (across from Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. Magnolia Florist will serve refreshments to guests participating in the tour. Tickets are $5.00 each and may be purchased in advance at Joyce's Boutique, Weldon Pharmacy, or the Hueytown Chamber of Commerce. Tickets may also be obtained from BPW members. Proceeds from the Open House Tour will help fund the BPW projects. The BPW will present awards for the best Christmas outdoor displays which include, but are not limited to, a Christian theme. Categories are the "Best Decorated Street," "Best Decorated Yard," and "Best Decorated Business." The BPW is hoping that all of Hueytown will be decorated thoroughly by December 19, at 6:30 PM when the judging will occur. Awards signs for the winners will be placed on December 20th.
